ABSTRACT
Legal language can be extremely complex and difficult to understand, especially when it comes to statutory interpretation. One of the most important principles of statutory interpretation used in Indian jurisprudence is ‘Noscitur a Sociis’. This principle is often used to help interpret unclear or ambiguous statutes. However, it can be difficult to understand how to apply this principle in practice properly.
